Warehouse Supervisor

The warehouse supervisor is responsible for the complete direction, supervision and management of warehouse operations, inventory management, personnel & process management, and warehouse client service management. This position will maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations, lead and develop the warehouse team, and motivate them to provide quality and efficient performance of their duties in a safe and productive environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient warehouse operations to fulfill operational and customer demand
- Maintain product and service quality goals for warehouse operations and meet those goals
- Work effectively with other departments to ensure coordination of sales
- Establish operational procedures for activities such as verification of picking, handling and packing of products
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policy and applicable law
- Provide a safe working environment, adhering to safety & environmental procedures, and ensure they are always understood and practiced by the staff.
- Perform duties for hiring, coaching, and training warehouse staff
- Maintain physical condition of the warehouse
- Conduct inventory review of stock levels and apply corrective actions when applicable
- Inspect equipment and issue work orders for its repair or replacement
Requirements
- 5+ years of Warehouse Management experience, or 7+ years of related experience
- Experience managing and training warehouse personnel, and leading projects
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- User Knowledge of ERP software is a plus
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to work well and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Customer service oriented
- Comfortable working in high pace environments.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
